2024 Public Markets Week
Neighbourhood Markets Tours
We cannot wait to engage market-goers, managers, vendors, and all Torontonians to share their love for markets! Enjoy 2024 Public Markets Week, and tag us in your adventures!
Activities include:
Launch the Toronto Public Markets Interactive Map
An interactive map that brings together, for the first time, all public markets in our city. The map is organized by the various forms of markets in our city and includes key information so residents and tourists can visit them all!
I Love Toronto Markets Campaign & Tool Kit
We want everyone to share their love for Toronto community-based markets. 2024 marks the launch of the #ILoveTorontoMarkets campaign, and we hope market managers, vendors, and residents will embrace this theme and have it grow year to year. Order I Love Toronto Markets Merchandise here
Neighbourhood Markets & Food Tours
An immersive and tasty opportunity to strengthen the connection between Farmers’ Markets, local businesses and the neighbourhoods they serve. All tours are anchored in a neighbourhood market and literally walk residents and visitors through a curated experience that highlights food and cultural assets in the community.
Space is limited to 25 people for each tour, registration is required and includes a $5 fee in order to secure your spot. These tours are valued at $68-100 per person but made accessible thanks to the City of Toronto’s Main Street Innovation Fund.

All tours run rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. We also recommend attendees arrive 10-15 minutes early, bring a water bottle, and to be kind and respectful to the guide, tour stop hosts, and fellow attendees. This is a great opportunity to make connections with other people who are passionate about markets!
This project has been funded by the City of Toronto's Main Street Innovation Fund as part of the Government of Canada's support through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
