Public Markets Week 2025: Impact and Opportunities for the Future

A report on Public Markets Week 2025's numbers, impact, and future opportunities. See you again next year!

Every year, Toronto’s Public Markets Week gets bigger and bigger. This year, we partnered with the City of Toronto again to celebrate the culture, diversity, and entrepreneurship that our dynamic public markets bring to Toronto. Our key message, working together with the City’s new #LoveLocal campaign, was a reminder that supporting your neighbourhood public market is an essential way to show your love and support for local businesses.

To that end, we expanded programs like our Toronto Public Markets Map, neighbourhood market tours, and #ILoveTorontoMarkets campaign while introducing new programs like our #LoveLocal Market Activations and Market Talks at St. Lawrence Market. We supported 23 markets in delivering programming this year and heard from market-goers across Toronto that they’re excited for more. From committed market-goers learning more about their communities, to curious Torontonians exploring new-to-them corners of the City, we’re looking forward to celebrating with everyone again next year.
