Public Markets Week is an annual event that aims to promote, celebrate, and show love for Toronto’s diverse and dynamic public markets, which bring culture, diversity, and entrepreneurship to the city's various neighbourhoods. Through market activations and events, the public is invited to visit and learn more about the city’s 160+ public markets, so they can appreciate the important role markets play in delivering economic and community development across Toronto, especially for Indigenous, Black, and Immigrant communities.    

marketcityTO partners with the City of Toronto and the different markets across the city to create unique learning experiences that highlight the value that public markets bring to Toronto’s neighbourhoods and communities.
