Becky Lamb

Project Supporter

Shaped by the waters of Lake Couchiching, Simcoe, and Ontario, I currently have the privilege of calling Prince Edward County (Anishnaabeg, Wendat and Haudenosaunee Territory, adjacent to the Kanien’keha:ka community of Tyendinaga) 'home', and have roots that run deep into and through Ireland, Scotland and England. I have worn many hats including: community service worker, farmer, hospitality worker, dancer, volunteer manager, favourite Aunty, educator, Board Chair, education coordinator, communications coordinator, facilitator, winery intern, caregiver, Canadian ambassador, experiential tourism developer, tour guide, event coordinator, folk herbalist, and forager.

My family had a booth at the local farmers’ market selling mushrooms when I was a child. I had the pleasure of supporting the Evergreen Brick Works farmers’ market in Toronto, which is where I met Marina; we have been colleagues and friends ever since. Nature is my greatest mentor and I love sharing her lessons with others. Outside. Slowly.
